At DMF, the very first priority of our company is the safety of our employees, families, customers and suppliers. DMF is closely monitoring the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 disease. In response to this state of emergency, we have launched comprehensive prevention and response measures for all DMF employees, contractors and visitors.

To date, DMF has had no COVID-19 cases among our employees, and our active measures are designed to effectively address the current situation. Several actions we have taken may impact our interactions with you and I want you to know about them. In North America, we are limiting domestic business travel to essential travel only and have put in place a strict approval process. In addition, we are discontinuing international business travel until the outbreak is controlled. We have also eliminated employee attendance at large business gatherings  and are encouraging teleconferencing.

Internally, we have adapted a work from home policy for all eligible positions.  We are implementing split shifts which are both independently able to maintain all production if one team should become ill.  Sanitation measures have been increased throughout or facility and communicated to all employees.

It is our design to continue full operations as long as legally possible.   At this point, we have not seen a disruption in our supply chain or shipping schedule, but we cannot predict with any accuracy how we may be impacted by future freight pick up and deliveries.  We continue to reach out to our freight companies daily to ensure trucks are available to us and are in close communication with our suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.  However, given the uncertainty of this situation, please let us know of any potential business adjustments you may be anticipating as a result of the coronavirus impact. By knowing in advance if you expect your transportation needs to change, we may be able to position our resources accordingly to provide you with the best-possible service.
